在深圳时, 杨妈妈请我吃过桥米线. 我们两个人点了两个套餐（RMB 48)，来了两碗超大的汤，加上十多小碟的材料，乖乖不得了！ 真是让我看得目瞪口呆啊！我的天啊！这怎么吃啊！这可是我平时正餐的3 倍！我得吃撑了！
上网查了过桥米线的由来：
从前，蒙自一位秀才为了应考，他把自己关在南湖中的小岛上，日夜攻读。妻子每天给他送饭，因路远饭菜常常凉了，秀才便不爱吃。怎么办呢？一天妻子炖了一只肥母鸡，她用土罐盛了鸡汤，带上秀才爱吃的米线和佐料，用竹篮装了送去，当她端汤罐时，手被烫得缩了回来。原来，鸡汤上飘浮着一层厚厚的鸡油，保持了温度。于是，她把佐料放入汤内涮烫，再放入米线。秀才吃得热乎乎的，味道也觉着格外鲜美。大加赞杨，因为妻子送饭必须经过一桥．秀才便笑着对妻于说：“就把你今儿做的美餐叫做过桥米线吧。” 从此，过桥米线便在民间传开了。

It's in Chinese language. I believe you can get Chinese food in India too but most of the food featured here are local Singaporean food.
